St. Patrick's Day Parade 2012

A truly lovely spring-like day. Warm in the sunshine and slightly chilly in the shade thanks to a healthy breeze. Seems the entire town was out today!

Hofstra Dutch Festival 2012

The 29th annual Dutch Festival enjoyed a lovely spring-like day after the morning clouds broke. Attendance was decent with perhaps a slight decline in vendors and a return of the one Dutch goods vendor from years past.

Hofstra Dutch Festival 2013

The 30th annual Dutch Festival enjoyed a warm spring day but attendance was down, and there was a sharp decrease in vendors. The one Dutch goods vendor was back again, as were a couple of new ones - due to the Indian and Portuguese musical guests.

The 27th annual Dutch Festival at Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY. It was a beautiful, sunny and hot day. Unfortunately the tulips peaked about a week or two early this year.

Memorial Weekend Air Show
